Mervin A. Stringer has been employed full time in the fire investigation field for over 30 years and is the founder and owner of M. A. Stringer and Associates, Inc. He served as Chief of the Melbourne Beach Fire Department from 1972 to 1975 and earned his Associate of Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Brevard Community College, Cocoa, Florida, in 1975. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida in 1977. He has qualified in both state and federal courts as a fire cause and origin expert and has also provided courtroom expert testimony in fire prevention, fire codes, fire suppression systems, electrical fires and arson motives.

Christian K. Mulkey has been employed with MASA since August of 1995. In 2001 he earned his Bachelors of General Studies degree from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his Associates of Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Delgado Community College, with Honors, in May of 1998 and his Associate of Science degree in Electrical Construction Technology in December of 1998. He also earned his Associates of Arts degree in Education from Hillsborough Community College, Tampa, Florida in 1991. He has been involved in hundreds of fire investigations and has qualified in both state and federal courts as a fire cause and origin expert. While employed with MASA, he has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining our evidence documentation, identification and storage system.
